​ATV / UTV Trails - CLOSED

The Clark County Forestry and Parks Summer ATV/UTV County Forest Trails located on Clark County Forest lands will be closed at 6pm today, Friday February 7th in anticipation of the snowfall in order to preserve it for grooming purposes. We will reevaluate after the system moves through and decide to keep them closed or open them back up.

Levis /Trow Mounds Trails - OPEN

Mountain bike trails are still ice covered and in the freeze/thaw cycle. Please refrain from using the trails when temps are above freezing in order to allow the ground to dry and to not cause trail damage and erosion. For the most up to date information, visit the Levis/Trow Mound Facebook page.

Knobby Ridge Motorcycle Trails - CLOSED

Knobby Ridge Motorcycle Trails are closed effective immediately. Spring thaw is occurring. Please stay off the trails to prevent erosion and other damage

All trail fee requirements are temporarily suspended due to a WDNR Grant.

During the summer you will find fishing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, off road motorcycle, and ATV trails. Leisure driving amongst the many forest roads offers scenic driving and berry picking. Camping, picnics, swimming, boating and water skiing can be found in our many campgrounds and parks.

Recreation

Winter brings a flurry of excitement with snowmobiling, snowboarding, downhill skiing, tubing, and more. Clark County also offers quiet and peaceful surroundings in cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, and vistas. Clark County is your winter getaway.
